Project 3: Kids House (Therapy Centre)


Task: Gives new impact towards interactive learning therapy centre for disable kids.
Therapy centre designed: D-Feet centre which offers PHYSICAL THERAPY, SOCIAL SKILL, BEHAVIORAL & EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT.

So, how is the programmes of D-Feet Centre helps to the D.S. kids?
1. First, activities in LINK A POM to gain kids confidence and making friends with other kids.
2. For severe D.S. kids, they might need to go for rehabilitation activities a.k.a gym activities to train their muscle tone, balancing and gesture orientation.
3. Learning extra knowledge with alphabet soft blocks in interactive way & mirror tree located at Sofy E' Bounce
allow kids to gain confidence ofntheir outlook. Instead of preparing a mirror in front of the kids to let them see themselves, it would be better to let them discover the interesting of mirror effect in different angle which is less harsh for them.
4. The aquarium was designed to amazed the kids to strengthen their mind as kids always get amazed when there is something big. Something sized a lot bigger than them.
5. Dark sensory room allow kids to explore in the dark and also make them more sensitive to the changes of the surrounding.
6. Kids got the chance to explore the greeneries in the Green zone which freshen up the centre user, and it also not only for the kids activities to happen there but also a relaxing area for the exhausted workers.

Project 2: Fun-Factor (Art Lab)

Down Syndrome kids need more senses activities due to their slow physical development. So 5 senses activities allow them to be more alert to the surrounding & train their strengths. The infographic shown how to discover a D.S. kids & what is the consequences of the disease and also the examples of how the senses activities can help them.
